  • Organic Marula Oil
  • Kalahari Melon Oil

  • Boabab Oil
Marula Oil (“Sclerocarya Birrea”)

As with most oils, you can either use it straight up or look for it cocktailed with other ingredients in a serum or moisturizer. For the former, seek out pure or virgin marula oil, as it might have a higher concentration of those good-for-your-skin antioxidants than a refined version and it can be used daily. If you're using it on its own, you can apply it as the very last step of your skincare routine at night, or before your sunscreen during the day.

Kalahari Melon Oil (“Citrullus Vulgaris”)

Moisturiser:

Add five to ten drops to your daily moisturiser (depending on the size of the container) and stir well.
Make up a batch of body lotion by mixing two parts shea butter with one part Kalahari melon seed oil, using a hand blender. Then apply liberally for a deeply nourishing skin boost.

Carrier oil:

If you're a fan of essential oils, you'll be pleased to learn that Kalahari melon seed oil is an excellent carrier oil. Because it is soft and easily absorbed, it dilutes more potent essential oils to create a fragrant combination.
Combine a little drop of your preferred essential oil — eucalyptus, geranium, lavender or sandalwood — with four or five drops of Kalahari watermelon essential oil.

Oil Removal

In oil washing, oil is utilized to remove dirt from pores. We regard Kalahari melon seed oil as the best one for the purpose.
Apply a few drops of the oil to your palms, then massage it into your face gently.
Normally, the process includes wiping the surface with a warm, wet flannel after application, but because Kalahari melon seed oil absorbs so quickly, this step may not be necessary.

Hair Conditioning

Similar to famous argan and coconut oils, Kalahari melon seed oil works wonders on the hair, and there are multiple ways to apply it.
Apply approximately ten drops to your shampoo or conditioner and thoroughly combine.
Alternatively, you can massage a few undiluted drops into your hair after washing and let it soak; this will give it a lustrous and nourished look.

Baobab Oil (“Adansonia Digitata”)

Baobab oil, extracted from the seeds of the baobab tree, is a luxury, nutrient-rich oil with numerous health advantages. It is a moisturizer derived from plants that have an abundance of antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin E and omega fatty acids. Baobab oil is suitable for use on skin and hair because of its light, non-greasy texture that is easily absorbed and non-greasy.

African cultures have known about the potent benefits of baobab oil for years, but the rest of the world was unaware of them until recently.

Mongongo Oil (“Schinziophyton rautanenii”)

Mongongo oil is abundant in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which create a protective barrier on the surface of hair. This minimizes moisture loss, enhances gloss and even protects the hair from sun damage.

Often known as mongongo or manketti, it is a huge, spreading tree native to the subtropical southern African hills and sand dunes. The egg-shaped fruit of the mongongo consists of a thin layer of flesh surrounding a hard shell; beneath the shell is a nut that is rich in nutrients.

The San bushmen have been consuming the mongongo nut for more than 7,000 years, as it is a staple meal in the region. Mongongo oil has historically been used to soften and hydrate the skin.

Mongongo oil's particular makeup of polyunsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals, and proteins distinguishes it from other plant oils.
